Review on Smithsonian Institution

This website(http://www.si.edu/) is on a poplar museum in America which contains history from all over the world. The website has got accurate english and is also simple to read. Different languages are also available so as to allow readers from different part of the world to read and understand the history facts they have put up.
The arrangement are abit messy as there are too many headings and subheadings. There are lots of pictures and interesting write-ups on the website which makes it very lively and interesting.
There is a navigation bar which makes it easy for users to read and go around the website. A search tool is also given for users to easily navigate around the site. Information and membership are also given. There is no contact or feed back area which is the only down site.

Once again do visit this site and I hope you enjoy your tour with its many pictures and information. http://www.si.edu/

Reflecions on Practical 7

After evaluating the websites, I learned that it is very important for a website to have accuracy in its content and also to be free of grammatical and typo errors. A feedback or contact section is greatly needed if the website wants its users to be able to keep in touch and give their sincere opinions on improving.

The website's information also needs to be updated daily so as to feed us the latest and best information. The presentation and arrangement of the website is a good way to evenly spread out its contents and different sections it wants to show.

I have learnt the importance of navigation to further ease the sourcing of information on websites. Stuff like hot bars, links to other websites and detailed informations that are properly written out.
http://www.supplychain.ltd.uk - This is the example I can retreive. It is an information site but does not have enough detailed information.
